Grandma's Experiences

Old days, she was the eldest child of her parents Mr. & Mrs. Ruado. She sacrifices those problems that she had, until she was aable to stop of her studies because of her siblings needed, she has a nine siblings. One day, her father says that "Neng, you need to stop studying because of the expenses and financial problem". My grandma said "It's Ok tay, I understand". But, she has to experience as a farmer like her father. Until her sister was graduated for High School degree, she wanted to go back in school as her age at 19yera old, her life is working student. She trying to apply the popular tailoring in Tagum City and thankful she hired. After her graduation she will continue her work at tailoring shop.

My grandma studying her college at UM Panabo, while studying she support her own expenses, she realizes that she need to hard working and she should to complete her college level. But, while studying she was a softball player at the same time that's why she has a scholarship and she was proud of it. She already travel around the Philippines because of her talent in sports.

Until she graduated Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education without any hands offering support except for her sport scholarship. After a year, she passed the LET examination. In order to help her siblings she work without the knowledge of her parents. But, when her father died she regret and wish that she had told him that she already has a job in city to save for her own. After a month, their living was develop and their an increase in a count of boxes containing of bananas. While working again at Davao, she was able to support her three siblings, made them finish studying and got a degree such as a Nurse Aid, Seaman and Electrical Engineering. She went back to their province and there she found the love of her life, my grandfather. Then, their relationship bear fruits.

Now, she already finished her Masteral Degree but before she graduated, she experiences not eating just to save her money and pay her own tuition fee. Now, she is working with a Doctorate degree holder in Education and currently teaching at UM Panabo as a P.E instructor. At this point, a couple of years to go, she will retiring. She is the one who supports me in my studies and aside from me, she is supporting many other students as well. She is very thoughtful mother and supportive grandmother for me. There's nothing out there she cannot surpass. I'm also thankful everyday that she is my grandma.

Change Has Come

A man behind the success of the Land of Promise. He is 71 years old. he is a Filipino lawyer and politician, the father of Top 3 Safeties City in the world which is the Davao City. He is the brave and strong man. He is the 16th President of the Philippines and the first Mindanaoan president of this country our newly President Rodrigo "Digong" Roa Duterte.

His administration advocates the goals to accomplish such as: On crime, drugs and corruption. Suppress crime, spread of drugs and corruption within 3-6 months. Spread economic growth throughout the country. On agriculture and fisheries, build food terminal in the countryside with cold storage facilities. On OFW's and other workers, improve labor conditions for Filipino Workers. On Metro Manila transportation, improve mobility of people and goals. On education, double salaries of teacher by the end of their terms. On health, create specialized hospitals. He will create different communication styles, a single, permanent emergency response.

Today, the administration of Duterte their have different opinions and different sayings. Some Filipinos didn't agree to our president about the death penalty but mostly is agreed because we all know that this penalty is for all criminals that will suffer and die because of their bad action. Duterte tells everyone, that he can manage well about the corruption. "Corruption must stop!". He done for it 3-6 months that's why many people believed him because Duterte is on the action now, change has come. Some people are doubtful if this could be successful. But, most people believes it could. Duterte Administration could be the stop for the successful innovations for all.

Since, I asked in-charge inside the Student Accounting Office, I was shocked by the officer's response for me. I asked o her if my 40% scholarship had approved and if I'd receive it, how much I'll pay the balance. But, the in-charge is didn't give importance she didn't do well her customer/student like me.

So, I hope that you can do something well about it. The staff should be more attentive and respectful also approachable to all students.

Incident Report

Incident Title: Mauling Incident

Location: UM DPT Building (3rd floor, Room H3B)

Date of Incident: August 1, 2016 (11:30AM)

Victim: Berting Isuga

Suspect: Praning Kaayo

Reason: Love Triangle

Investigador: SPO4 Jack Hoback (Talomo Police Station)

Description:

11:30 in the morning at University of Mindanao. Isuga went to his classroom and he didn't know that Kaayo is getting ready to punch him inside his room. The victim didn't able to defent himself because of shock. Because of the injuries he got he reported Mr. Kaayo to the police. Mr. Hoback was assigned to investigate the incident. Mr. Kaayo explained that he punchd Mr. Isuga because he suspected that he is the other man of his girlfriend, Mr. Isuga denied the accusations. The University heard the chaos Mr. Kaayo had made so, he was suspended for a week because of the false accusations and for the problem he had made. And mauling in the University is his offense.
