            “CHANGE HAS COME”

Once, there was a lady who isolated herself towards people. She doesn’t want to socialize. She doesn’t want to talk to others. There is one thing interesting about this lady. She don’t want to believe there is love. She hated boys. She hated even Cupid. She believes that in her time, chivalry and love was dead. She believes that boys just wanted to get into your pants and leave you with those broken pieces of heart. But there comes a guy who change all what she believed. They became friends, best friends to be exact. And as the time passed by, she felt something strange. Butterflies in stomach, sudden rapid palpitation of the heart, and happiness. Strange happiness. She was terrified on what she is feeling. So, she avoided and cut all the connections with the guy. But, the time she opted to stay away, the guy took away the happiness too. She’s been spacing out all the time. She’s been thinking about the guy who gave him those strange feelings all the time. Little did she know, she was falling in love, she was devastated.

Until one day, when she was sitting on a bench near the bay, watching sunset, someone patted her shoulder. She gasped but eventually felt relieved. The butterflies in stomach, the rapid palpitation of the heart, she suddenly felt it all. She burst into tears when the guy said “I’ve been dying to see you. I’ve missed you a lot that no matter what I do, I keep thinking of you.” Those lines, gave him the thought and realizations. There is love and that was the guy.

      ”DOES CHANGE REALLY HAS COME”

President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte. June 20, 2016, he was proclaimed to be the next president and for up to the preceding six years. Filipinos are indecisive whether they’re going to be grateful and hopeful or they’re going to be terrified on the Duterte’s administration. Different opinions, different says. If it’s going to be merciless and bloody or it is going to be faithful and progressive.

Bloody, for Digong already voiced out and showed his braveness. Threatened criminals, mentioned names and the most alarming platform he had mentioned was the re-implementation of death penalty. Which many had opposed but many also had agreed. People are keep weighing the pros and the cons. Pros, because some Filipinos believed this could be the time for a wide change and a real punishment for every violations committed. Cons, for this could possibly be a horror to anybody, and some Filipinos also believed that no one is above to end someone’s life except Him.

Faithful, for Digong strongly condemned corruption. From the very first start of his campaign, drugs and corruption was always the center of his speech. “Corruption must stop. Corruption should be vanished.”

Does Filipino be grateful or scared? Grateful, for Digong could be the key for the Philippines progress. Grateful, for Duterte’s administration could be the step for the real change and successful innovations, or scared for this administration could be very dictatorative and superior.

Scared, for this might be the déjà vu of some historical errors way back on Marcos presidency. Because, some people says, Duterte and Marcos administration plays a similar rules and ordinances. They think that Duterte and Marcos have the same principles on handling a country.

Federalism also one of the Duterte’s platform. Peace talks between NPA’s and others. Some people are doubtful if this could be successful but, most people believes it could. Well, it’s just the 12th day of his presidential term. So early to judge, so early to conclude. It has been started but we’re not been at the half of the journey yet. But, does change really has come?

Subject: Proper approach of the Xerox-machine facilitators to the costumers.

I have experienced the rudeness of some Xerox-machine facilitators when I was asked to photocopy the activities and lessons on a certain subject. It is hurtful because some of the facilitators are not approachable. It seems that they don’t want a costumers.
So, I want to suggest that the facilitators maybe should be more friendly and approachable because, some students are afraid and hesitant to photocopy something if the facilitators will remain cold.

Thank you!
