Incident Title: Grade 11 students had a mauling incident because of jealousy

Location: UM DPT Building (3rd floor, Room H3B)

Person Involved: Berting Isuga (victim) and Praning Kaayo (suspect)

Two boys, who are UM students and a senior high Grade 11, has been reported because of mauling incident today (08/01/16) at exactly 11:30 AM.

Because of the jealousy, the suspect confronted the victim at Room H3B, 3rd floor DPT building. a professor heared them that they were fighting about this one girl. The suspect accused the victim that the victim is hitting on his girl. Because of uncontrollable anger the suspect attacked the victim and the victim defend himself and that's when the mauling incident happened. They were caught by a professor and immediately send them to OSA (Office of the student affair).

To stop the boys fighting, the principal decided to make the two understand the reality. They talked to them properly and make them realize that they are still young to fight for a girl.

THE DUTERTE'S ADMINISTRATION

                                                

Philippines new administration is what the Filipinos needed especially to those who are hungry for change. This new administration is strict, frank and best at implementing laws. Philippine is prone to criminality such as drugs, kidnapping, killing, corruption etc. It is considered as the worst country in terms of facilities. But the new administration has a strong motivation to change the country than the last one. When their term has started they eventually do their first task to meet and inform his cabinet that there will be no more red tape on getting files from each department. Then, the administration hunts drug related suspects or people that is involves with drugs. They surrender and stop or will be killed if the policemen are in risk of the said raid. The new administration has a law that involves child’s safety on evening, noises or no video at late night and alcohol drinks must be allowed only in 12 mid night. There has a lot to be implemented as they were just starting to let the people participate first and everything will be alright. The new administration is the hope of change in Filipinos dream for the country.

11:30 am, August 1, 2016 at University of Mindanao, incident of mauling happened between Berting Isuga and Praning Kaayo. The fight started when Berting found out that Praning is stalking his girlfriend Mary Ma, Berting kicked Praning’s ass and then, the mauling incident was happened. Inside the investigator team, SPO4 Jack Hoback said that Praning was just an instrument of jealousy to prank Berting so Mary will know how much Berting loved him. Then they settled by apologizing both sides.

RECOMMENDATION:

If you prank someone you always have to have a medical team.

             Margaux Allison Williams. A glass that fell on the floor. She is broken, broken by the past and don’t know how to mend her self. She try everything but failed always. 

             She just came from school when she hear noises above their house. She go upstair and saw her parents fighting each other in a small opening of the door.

             “Let’s end this Edwardo, I don’t love you anymore” hearing her mother inside her parents room.

             “Why Cristina? Is it because of that bullsh*t guy?!”. The room was completely silent then she hear footstep and saw her mother living that door. Her mother saw her but ignore her presence.

             She never forgot that day. It was the first time her heart break. She is still 8 years old that time and after that day she never saw her mother return to their house. Her dad died when she turn 16 because of cancer in liver due to alcohol abuse.

             Monday afternoon when she go home to her grandmother house where she used as maid by the people living there, she saw her mother again with her lagguage and things place beside it.

            “You can go now with your mother, useless brat tsk” said her aunt sarcastically.

            “Let’s go home Ally” her mother speak.

            “I’m not going home with you, and there is no such place as home” trying to speak those words strongly.

            “Hey! You’re not welcome here anymore brat, go with your mother where you belong, you two are the filthy of this family specially that coquette” pointing my mother. Her aunt starting to carry her things to the car of her mom and drag her inside. It was hurt to be called as dirt of the descent but her mother disregard eveything what her aunt said. It was a long ride going to her mother’s new family house. She ignore everything, follow rules and live accordingly after all she is still a mess. Her mother bring and lead her to her fancy room. Everything she needs is there already, big LED screen television, set of computer even the DSLR that she eagerly want, queen size bed with full of pillows and stuff toys, big walk in closet and luxurious bathroom. All things are elegant and arrange properly.

            “This is going to be your room from now on” said her mother and leave her unspoken and flattered.

            She enjoyed everything and forgot for the mean time what her mother did to her but then the scar never heal with all those things.

            Tuesday morning she went downstair and saw her mother sitting beside with a familiar man on a table.

            “Good Morning baby. Please sit here beside me”. Her mother call her. “This is your tito Alfonso”.

            “Nice meeting you iha” said this familiar man to her with a smile.

            “Is this the bullsh*t guy said dad way back 12 years ago mom?” I ask look confuse.

            “Allison!” her mother shout her name. “just eat”

            “Don’t shout at her darling” I almost expel all the food I ate hearing him calling my mom darling.

            “I’m sorry Ally” said my mother.

            “Anyway darling Axl will coming home tomorrow please prepare for dinner” then Alfonso stand up and ready to go. He kissed my mom and say goodbye to me.

            “Who’s Axl?” I ask in silence between me and mom.

            “You will know him soon” she just said.

            I spend my day in my room surfing and reading books when my mother enter my room.

            “Hey baby prepare your dress for tomorrow everything is in your closet just pick what you like” then she leave.

            I go to my closet and feel sudden excitement. I pick the red one and it fits perfectly on me.

            “I look decent in this dress, I look so beautiful” praising myself infront of a mirror. After I choose what I’m going to wear I go back to my bed and sleep.

             I wake up late and receive an SNS from mom saying that she is busy today, I’m just going to ask the lady in the kitchen to prepare me a food and get dress at 4PM and there will a stylist coming to do my make up and hair and wait also for the driver to fetch me in the house. I followed her order.

            As I travel to the venue my heartbeat fast. I saw my colleagues and classmates in high school from afar. The driver lead me the way to the table sw my mom and tito alfonso, then the emcee make her introduction. People are shouting eager to see Axl, even me who is still innocent who is Axl really is.

            “Please help me welcome Mr. Axl” said the emcee.

            Heartbeat fast…

            Saw his shoes and walking…

            It was Axl Benjamin Smith, her first and ex boyfriend.

            “Let’s all clap our hands for Mr. Axl Benjamin Smith” the emcee give the mic to Axl.

               Rodrigo "Rody" Roa Duterte, also known as Digong of many Davaeños. He was among the longest-serving mayors in the Philippines and was Mayor of Davao City, a highly urbanized city on Mindanao Island, for seven terms, totally more than 22 years. He has also served as vice-mayor and as congressman for the city. He is a great father of every Davaoeños, he never failed us to believed every words came from his mouth. He made Davao as one of the most safest and well organized city.
              
               He was nicknamed as "The Punisher" because of his doing during his time as mayor in Davao. An alleged group called as Davao Death Squad has been tied to Duterte by human rights organizations and are responsible for the extrajudicial killings of suspected drug dealers and pushers. During his time crime rate of Davao City lessen and many people who are involved in Drug Addiction were killed by anonymous people riding a motorcycle.

               Duterte won as the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines and the first Mindanaoan to hold the title. During the time of his campaign, he pursue the anti-drug campaign and the principle of federalism. Federalism is a system of government in which the same territory is controlled by two levels of government. He also want the whole Philippines be like Davao City which is safe and organized. He promised that within 6 months Philippines will be clean and clear from abuses and drugs. He really want those people involved in corruption will receive a punishment, drug lords and those person commit heavy crime will get a death penalty.

               Duterte has one word and it is the word "stop". Stop from being such a cruel person from others. Don't be involved in drug addiction. Stop the corruption in the Philippines where some of government employees and has position in government were involved. 

               Duterte really is the mighty father and many Davaoeños want him to win as the President of the Philippines and by the help of others, he really titled as the 16th President. 

               The eagle rise and fly to the whole country. May our President safe and God bless and guide him on his decisions.

STORY

There was a girl named Ana, who dreamed of being a lawyer. Being a farmer’s daughter and having 5 siblings. Ana’s family has always been down and out; and so, having funds for education has been their problem since then that’s why she needed to stop from her studies. As intelligent as Ana, she thought of having everything on planned: She will find a job and save money for the time that she would go back to school. And so she did.

After two years of being out from school, Ana already decided to come back to college. And even though she had come back to school, she was still working on a part timing job, having her balancing both of it; her studies and her job as a cashier on a gasoline station.

As years of studying passed by, now Ana is already graduating from college and with all of hope wound proceed to have examination to be a licensed lawyer.

“This Person I Know”

            I wanted to share my own story.

            My story is like waves of people passing. The vision is blurred and in most times, there is nothing I can do to make clear of all the questions and monologues inside my head.

            A year ago, when I decided to re-enroll, I was so uncertain of what is going to happen to my life, of what is in store for me, of everything. But I took the chance and tried exploring the what-if’s in my life. It was never easy though, it’s like I started from a scratch.

            I work and study at the same time. I try my hardest in both worlds. But hitting two birds with one stone is easier said than done. It’s agonizing. Every time I get up, it’s like I’m carrying a hundred ton boulder. I could feel my limbs getting numb probably because my bed is not cushioned enough. I’d also have migraines sporadically when I think about matters. I apologize to the professors whom I’ve convincely given empty nods at. That might be a desperate act of saving myself from all their questions.

            In this generation, life becomes a brink of survival. As I battle with life, I battle with my goals. Goals are like circles, the cycle of wanting to succeed. But why am I stuck at the bottom? When do I get my turn?

Then at a quiet moment, I get excited and imagine myself doing something but in reality, I spaced out looking awful. What is supposedly a meaningful day turns out to be an anxiety booster. But I’d brush all the tense away by shaking my head.

I wish I could have been something more than what I am now but this is the person I know.

Well, it’s not like tomorrow ends.

“The Duterte Administration”

            President Rody Duterte’s call for unity is indeed sincere as he acknowledge the Philippine’s cannot be done by himself alone but he needs all the help of the Filipinos. His sincere voice caught the attentions of many Filipinos and the sincerity of his eyes to unite as one touched the hearts and minds of every Filipinos witnessing his inaugural speech. 

            Revealing the real problems in the country showed that every Filipino should have expected change under the Duterte Administration. President Duterte narrates his priorities as President: fighting corruption, criminality and drugs and he also revealed the real problem in the Philippines is the people’s lost of trust and confident in the government.

            As his first order of business, President Duterte orders all government agencies to speed up the processing of government documents and to eliminate redundancies.

            President Duterte will be a champion of the poor and reading this we might see major programs in poverty alleviation and providing more opportunity for those who have less in life. He is projecting that he will be a president for all, that he will not favor anyone and instead will work hand in hand for the country. It is very inspiring to see a president who sees the value of everyone. This is a very rare occasion and the first time I had seen since I was born in this country.

            As an overall observation, we could look forward for a better Philippines. I really admire him more than ever. I also have high hopes for his administration and I strongly believe that this is the first time a president realized the real problem in this country, and offered  a real solution to help more forward towards a common goal. Our new president needs our wholehearted support and we should give it to him.

There was a mauling incident happened last August 1, 2016 at DPT Building due to some love issues whom there are two Grade 11 students had involved, Berting Isuga who was the victim and Praning Kaayo the known suspect. The investigator stated that they were fall in love with one girl whose name is Valak. He also state that Praning Kaayo was Valak’s ex-boyfriend who is still inlove with her and Valak got confused because she still have feelings for him. Berting Isuga got mad of what he knew, he went to the room of Praning Kaayo and told him to stay away from his girl but Praning Kaayo said no becaused he loved her and he punch Berting on his face, he also punch him in return. Some of the students and professors stopped them and send them at the Dean’s Office. The Dean conducted an investigation of the incident happened.
